WE ARE KID-LIKE IN OUR CURIOSITY

“Mum, why aren’t elbows called armbows?” It’s a good question. And it’s a question only a kid would ask. Curiosity is the key to learning. There is no silly question when you’re a kid. And there is no judgment. It’s the same at Bohemia. Our eyes, our ears, our heads and our heart are open. For it’s a fascinating and wide, wide world out there. And there are beautiful things to be found in the most surprising of places. An open and curious mind is a gift. We have learnt to trust it and feed it as it never fails us (or our armbows).

We work hard. Play hard. We go hard, then go home. Bohemians are either in, boots and all, or they are out. Passion is the fuel that powers Bohemia. It’s contagious. It’s the ‘secret herbs and spices’ of our culture. It’s in our ‘d’ to the ‘n’ to the ‘a’. You can’t teach it. You’ve either got it or you ain’t. While we’re unfailingly optimistic, we’re down-to-earth realists. And while we are doggedly determined, we are never blindly obsessed. We are not ‘gunna’s’, at Bohemia we are ‘doers’.

Social Influence

Social Influence designs strategies to connect brands with cultural, media, customer or consumer elite and encourages them to tell the brand’s story in their own words, to their audience, to create authentic and credible content that can change brand perception, consideration and ultimately action. It is Social meets PR.

Data and Attribution

The Data & Attribution team are the single source of truth for all Bohemia clients. From custom built business and campaign dashboards to full funnel fractional attribution modelling, their mission is to turn client and communications data into real world actionable intelligence and in turn, commercial results.

Customer Experience Management

A customer and owned channel specialist unit to help clients maximise their most powerful assets and ensure through the line thinking, customer journey mapping and service design are central to our communications solutions.

Branded Content

A collective of creative content managers and designers with deep experience in video, print, experiential and technology builds to both create, and/or work seamlessly with, specialist partners to turn ideas into reality.

Bespoke Research

A unique research design capability that specialises in developing progressive qualitative and quantitative research. This unit delivers deeper consumer understanding and ensures our communication is founded on insight and lives in culture.

Brett Dawson

Chief Executive Officer

An eternal optimist and one of Australia’s most awarded media strategists, Brett is our agency founder and leader. His focus is on turning good into great with an infectious passion to make Bohemia the best it can possibly be for both our Bohemians and our clients. He has over 16 years’ experience in building agencies and leading the country’s biggest brands in a career that has spanned buying, strategy and agency management. Having been recognised locally and internationally for his work, he continues to obsess over the best work in the country in his role as chairman of The Media Federation of Australia Awards.

Chris Christofi

Chairman

Chris co-founded Bohemia with Brett Dawson in 2011 and is in his element when talking brand. A firm believer in the “cult” of brand, Chris has worked with iconic brands such as Nike, Harley Davidson, Gatorade, Apple and IBM. Whilst there are few categories Chris hasn’t worked on, the work he’s most proud of is the Nike Olympic work for Sydney 2000, the launch of the Perpetual Brand into the fund management category, the iconic advertising for Decore Shampoos and most recently the launch of Open Colleges into the online education space.

James Collier

Chief Intelligence Officer

Proud geek, shower thinker and Bohemia Partner. James leads Bohemia’s digital, data and performance products and spends his days drinking copious amounts of coffee and obsessing over ROI across all Bohemian clients. James has spent the last 17 years tinkering with things on the internet and is fanatical about technology and its disruptive impact on business. James has been fortunate enough to have had his work recognised on 4 continents and has been published both locally and internationally on everything from the future of programmatic buying to the merits of food porn and cat photos.
